Fraudsters have earned almost half a billion rubles on the Scam with laboratory monkeys destined for scientific center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). On Friday, September 29, reports RIA Novosti citing a source in law enforcement bodies.
“A number of employees of the Federal scientific center of research and development of immunological products name Chumakova wounds and the other two companies concluded contracts for the supply of laboratory animals, namely monkeys and macaques of different species. The contract stated deliberately inflated the cost of which exceeded in total the average market similar services to 457 million rubles”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
In the end, the money scammers have disposed at own discretion.
The official comment of law enforcement bodies on the given fact has not yet been reported.
In August, a resident of Novosibirsk received a suspended sentence for trafficking in a non-existent puppies. She posted online ads to sell puppies Pomeranian.
