The scientific community once rejected the idea that animals can be individual character. Recently, however, she received new evidence that could potentially help to improve the conditions of captive animals. Despite the popularity of cats as Pets, the impact of their traits on the contents and particular care scientists usually overlooked.
The goal of this work was to conduct research on a large number of animals to determine the practical implications for their content. Owners 802 2 cats were given questionnaires measuring 52 character traits. The analysis revealed five robust personality factors.
The authors come to the conclusion that the character of a cat may vary.
In particular, visokointensivne animals may behave this way due to stress, and low obedience can be associated with illness or pain.
Therefore, scientists conclude that required extensive work, which will assess not only the behavior of cats, but their entourage, which will more fully investigate the nature of animals.
