Against the head of the movement “the Christian state of Holy Russia” Alexander Kalinin opened a criminal case involving the forced film distributors to opt-out of the movie “Matilda”. Kalinin detained, have informed RBC a source in the Ministry.

About excitation of criminal case under the article 179 of criminal code “coercion to commit the transaction or reject the transaction” said the official representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Irina Wolf. “Upon being forced to abandon the demonstration of the film in cinemas under the threat of violence against the audience, causing harm and damage to owners of cinemas,” explained Wolf. While the interior Ministry did not give the name of the suspect.

Earlier, on 20 September, the leader of “Holy Russia” was detained by the FSB and the Department for combating extremism of the MVD suspicion of incitement to unlawful action. After questioning Kalinin was released, but on Thursday arrested again. By the evening of Thursday the indictment was not presented to him.
