Russian bailiffs have solved the problem of double-payment penalties, wrongly charged on behalf of the DMV. On Thursday, September 21, RIA Novosti reported citing the head of the Federal bailiff service (FSSP) Dmitry Aristov.
The decision came the bailiffs without automatic payment verification, explained the Director of the Federal bailiff service.
“Now the traffic police and the Ministry of communications eliminated the problem. All decisions of the traffic police have come to us in electronic form and are automatically checked by the State information system of payment. If the fine is voluntarily paid, then this information is revealed and the resolution is considered executed,” explained Aristov.

He expressed the hope that now the Russians will not have to re-pay because of the negligence of the bailiffs.
Informed in traffic police summed up the results of work of the system of preferential payment of fines, which provides a 50 percent discount if payment is received within the first 20 days of punishment. The Deputy chief of head Department on safety of traffic of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Sergey Dobryakov said that introduced last year, the practice paid off: it was used by about 70 per cent of offenders.
