The investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case into the death of three newborns in the perinatal center of Rostov-on-don. This is stated in the message Department, arrived in edition “Tapes.ru” on Tuesday, September 19.
The investigation is conducted under part 3 of article 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence to two or more persons”).
According to investigators, July 17 a 32-year-old resident of Taganrog to a “problem pregnancy” was admitted to the perinatal center of the Rostov region, where on the same day, with “caesarean section” gave birth to three children. They were transferred to the Department of pathology of newborns and premature babies. August 23 died, one child, and several days later died two more.
September 15, “Komsomolskaya Pravda, Rostov-on-don” has published interview of the mother — Victoria Samoylenko. Woman accused doctors of the Rostov hospital in the death of sons. She said she gave birth to prematurely: “two twins were in one placenta, has received less food than their brother.” The boys were born weighing 1150, 1350 and 1550 grams, they were placed in intensive care. Five days later the children were transferred to the Department of pathology — according to doctors, babies have inflammation of the intestines.
“My questions were dismissed. I had in my notebook to write down what they were saying. And then look in Internet and decipher,” — said Samoilenko. According to her, August 9 kids “off drugs” and after a week the condition of one of them deteriorated sharply, “he was pouring a ton of medications and antibiotics”, but on 23 August he died. The next day died the second son, then a third.

“These days the doctors gave me hope that all will be well. As it turns out, was just waiting until they die?! I was told that they had intrauterine infection. But where did the virus? All the tests I was normal,” claimed the mother.
Representatives of the regional Ministry of health told reporters that the seized medical documents and referred to the expertise of freelance professionals and agencies in the UK. Investigators appointed forensic investigations to establish causes of death of newborn children.
Earlier, on 23 June the Investigative Committee opened a case of negligence in connection with the death of 12 newborns in the perinatal center of Bryansk. The hospital was forced to close three months later after beginning work. On 17 August a similar situation occurred in Orenburg: reported ten cases of death in newborns in the perinatal center from 2014 to 2017. The regional government created a special Commission to verify the statements of the parents.
