Approved the calendar of days off in 2018
The governmental Commission on regulation of social and labor relations approved the schedule of shifts weekends in 2018, proposed by the Ministry of labour and social protection. As reported by “RIA Novosti” in the Ministry, the meeting adopted a draft resolution, which will be sent for signature to the Prime Minister.
According to the Commission, the weekend will be days:
- 30 December 2017 8 January 2018;
- from 23 to 25 February;
- from 8 to 11 March;
- from 29 April to 2 may;
- May 9;
- from June 10 to 12;
- from 3 to 5 November.
Work will be Saturday:
- — April 28;
- — June 9;
- — 29 Dec.
“Weekend on January 6 and 7, coinciding with non-working holidays, will be moved to the March 9 and may 2 respectively,” — said the Ministry.
The relocation of the holidays connected with the requirements of the legislation. Under the labour code, between work weeks must be at least 42 hours.
