In Jamaica died 117-year-old violet moss brown (Violet Brown Mosse), who was the oldest person on Earth.

The oldest person on the planet she was recognized in April 2017, after the death of Italian Emma Moran, who was the last person born before 1900.
Brown was born in the Jamaican parish of Trelawny, on 10 March 1900. In 2010, a woman gave an interview to a local newspaper. Long said that not eating pork, and chicken, and not drink rum.
“You know, sometimes I ask myself: am I really 110 years old? she confessed. Because I don’t feel 110”. 26 July 2017 she took fifth place in the list of the oldest people in history.
