The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has awarded awards to workers of culture and art, including singers Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Nikolai Baskov and Joseph Kobzon. The relevant document is published on the official portal of legal information.
Hvorostovsky was awarded the order “For merits before Fatherland” IV degree.
Baskov was awarded the order of Friendship. The same award was awarded to the artist of the theater Mossovet Eugene Steblova, the actress-singer Moscow state academic operetta theater the Svetlana Varguzova artist-the contortionist Russian state circus company Vyacheslav Czerniawska.
Kobzon was awarded the distinction “For blessing” for the active charitable and social activities.
