MOSCOW, 12 Sep — RIA Novosti. Media reports about the two-step nomination of Vladimir Putin for the presidency is a hypothetical reasoning that politicians are “plucked the rosary”, said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.
Previously, “Kommersant” with reference to its sources wrote that the presidential administration has decided how it will look in advance: it will take place in two phases, the nomination will go through collection of signatures.
“It is, so to speak, the scientists sorted the beads such hypothetical possibilities within the legislation. Yes, in law you can go from the party, you can go to the independent candidate, well, all these possibilities are sorted out, trying to guess what options will be involved, if the President makes the decision to go to elections,” — said Peskov, asked to comment on communications from the sources, about the plans for the extension of Putin’s presidency.
“So, I repeat: the President has not announced any decisions, did not speak about the intention to nominate his candidacy, while there is the usual quite intense daily work, all pre-election procedure, of course, whoever ran, they must be performed in strict accordance with the law”, — said the press Secretary of the head of state.
