The Polish foreign Ministry summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine because of the situation.
The Ambassador of Ukraine in Warsaw Andriy Deshchytsia was summoned to the Polish foreign Ministry in connection with the situation with the former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili. On Sunday, September 10, said MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, reports Onet.
Saryusz-Wolski said that the situation with the ex-Governor of the Odessa region are following the interior Minister Mariusz Blashak, Minister of foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski and the Minister of infrastructure and development Andrzej adamczyk. He also promised to raise this issue at the meeting of the European Parliament.
September 10, Saakashvili deprived of Ukrainian citizenship and undocumented, in Polish Przemysl (Przemysl) got on the train “intercity” to Kiev. However, at the station, the composition of the detained, declaring that he won’t move until the inside is “a person without the right to enter the territory of Ukraine”. After sitting in the car for a few hours, the former Georgian President went to the Polish-Ukrainian border by bus. In the state border service accused Saakashvili of trespassing on a sensitive object, illegally crossing the border and causing bodily harm to the staff.
