The number of victims of the earthquake in Mexico has risen to 58 people, reports Reuters. Earlier it was reported 32 dead.
The greatest damage was caused to the southern part of the country. In the town of Juchitán in Oaxaca destroyed the town hall, hotel and many other buildings. Also because of the tremors split in two, the building in the town of Matias Romero.
The earthquake of a magnitude of 8.0 was recorded on the morning of Friday, September 8, the Pacific coast of Mexico. Its epicenter was 96 kilometers from the city Pijijiapan in the South-East of the country.

Experts warned about the threat of a tsunami on the coast of Mexico and nearby countries — Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama and Ecuador. The maximum height of the waves after the earthquake has reached one meter.
