Declared herself the daughter of Salvador Dali, the Spaniard wants to challenge the results of the DNA test
On Wednesday, at the Foundation Gala — Salvador Dalí announced that the results of the examination have not confirmed the relationship of Pilar, Abel and artist.
MADRID, 7 Sep. /TASS/. The Spaniard Pilar Abel said he wants to challenge the results of the DNA test, according to which she is not the daughter of Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). About it the woman said the TV channel Television Espanola.
Abel noted that “do not trust online storage” of DNA samples.
“I’m going to appeal [the test results],” added the woman who still considers herself the daughter of the artist.
As assured in environment the Foundation Gala — Salvador Dalí spent examination has established that Abel is not the biological daughter Given. The artist’s remains were exhumed on July 20 in the town of Figueres in the North-East of Spain (Autonomous community Catalonia) at the request of women, claiming that he was her father. During the exhumation were taken samples of hair, nails, teeth, and extracted two long bones.
Pilar Abel was born on 1 February 1956. According to the woman, her mother had a secret relationship with Salvador Dali. Since 2007, Abel tries to achieve recognition of kinship with the artist. If a DNA test confirmed the woman’s words, she could claim to bear the name was Given, and copyright.
