Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak, during a working trip to Sevastopol pointed out the positive dynamics in realization of the Federal target program “Socially-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol until 2020”. He stated this during an inspection of reconstruction of city Park named after Anna Akhmatova, announced on Tuesday, September 5, RIA Novosti. The Deputy Minister was accompanied by acting Governor of Sevastopol Dmitry Ovsyannikov.
“The new management team that came into the city, markedly intensified work on implementation of the FTP. Last year was relevant criticism. Of course, not everything went smoothly, there are problems. But overall, the team of Dmitry Vladimirovich (Ovsyannikova — approx. “Of the tape.ru”) to cope,” — said Kozak.
According to him, this year the situation has improved markedly with the infrastructure and the commissioning of social objects. In addition, he noted he substantial growth of the city. “The growth in own tax and non-tax revenue was 23 percent. In Russia on average — 10 percent. Good progress in the development of the economy,” concluded Kozak.
In late August the government of Sevastopol said that by 2022 it is planned to restore the city’s more than 60 parks and gardens covering about 1 million square meters. For this, the budget provides about 4.8 billion rubles.
On 21 August it was reported that the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has supported and endorsed the proposals of the authorities of Sevastopol in several areas of city development.
