The Navy of South Korea held a large-scale fire exercises in the sea of Japan in response to the latest missile launch of the DPRK. On Tuesday, 5 September, reports “Yonhap”.
As noted, this was done with the goal of “demonstrating their determination to resist the provocations of North Korea”.
In the maneuvers involved a patrol ship, missile, high-speed vessels and a frigate, Gangwon.
“If the enemy tries to provoke us, we strike now and we’ll bury them at sea”, — stated in the Navy of South Korea.
On Monday, the President of the United States Donald trump in conversation with the leader of South Korea moon Jae Otherwise approved multibillion-dollar arms deliveries to Seoul. Also, the American leader essentially endorsed the initiative of South Korea’s removal of restrictions on combat load of missiles.
On 4 September it was reported that South Korean intelligence had recorded in Korea, signs of preparation for the next launch of an Intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) in the Pacific ocean.
A day earlier, North Korea announced the successful test of a hydrogen warhead, which is designed to equip Intercontinental ballistic missiles. The Ministry of defense of Japan preliminarily estimated the capacity of the tested charge 70 kilotons, several times the power of the atomic bombs dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
