Actor from “Matilda” published “letter Serebrennikov” in case of arrest
Who played the role of Nicholas II in the movie “Matilda” actor Lars Eidinger has published the letter which he allegedly gave Kirill Serebrennikov. In it the Director talks about Petro Poroshenko to shoot a propaganda film.

He asks everyone to remain calm and “not to succumb to provocations of political swindlers who try to earn money for stories, which can be turned against the authorities.”
“From the very beginning of the criminal case I’ve heard various speculation. I even got a proposal of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, head of one of Ukrainian theatres and to remove the propaganda film with the financial support of the state. I am grateful for such attention to his person, but want to say that I do not intend to leave. I’m not a politician, and the Director. And I don’t want to be used in someone’s dirty interests”, — stated in the message.
Serebrennikov said that living for the sake of art.
“Unfortunately, there are bigots who believe that my work lead to the slutty, but because they should not exist. These powers actively support my unjust arrest. I am sure that I will prove my innocence, and justice will prevail,” wrote the Director.
