MOSCOW, 3 sen — news. Once the DPRK nuclear test aimed at undermining the global nonproliferation regime and poses a serious threat to peace and security in the region, said in a statement on Sunday the message of the Russian foreign Ministry.
Earlier, North Korea announced the successful test of a hydrogen warhead, which is designed to equip Intercontinental ballistic missiles. The order of testing was given by North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN.
“Cannot but cause regret the fact that the leadership of the DPRK by its actions aimed at undermining global non-proliferation regime, posed a serious threat to peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and the region as a whole. The continuation of such a line is fraught with serious consequences for the DPRK,” — said the Russian foreign Ministry.
As noted in Moscow, under the circumstances, it is imperative “to keep calm, to refrain from any actions leading to further escalation of tension.”
“We call on all stakeholders to immediately return to dialogue and negotiations as the only possible way for a comprehensive settlement of the problems of the Korean Peninsula, including nuclear. We confirm our readiness to joint efforts in this direction, including in the context of implementing the Russian-Chinese road map”, — stressed the foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation.
