Hundreds of Muslims are picketing the Embassy of Myanmar in Moscow
The Myanmar Embassy on Bolshaya Nikitskaya street in Moscow gathered several hundred Muslims protesting against the oppression of their co-religionists in Myanmar (Burma).
As reported from the scene correspondent of Russian service bi-Bi-si, the action was attended by about 500 people; in Bolshaya Nikitskaya street was completely closed to traffic, the place was on duty, many police officers, including riot police.
According to our correspondent, many in the audience behaved excitedly, but overall the action was held peacefully, clashes between protesters and police marked. Performances of participants of meeting was accompanied by shouts of “Allahu Akbar!”.
One of the protesters said the Russian service bi-Bi-si that the call to come to the Embassy of Myanmar, he learned from a post of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in Instagram. According to him, he and the rest of the participants are protesting against killing of Muslims in Myanmar (also known as Burma).
Earlier it was reported that Myanmar was burned few hundred houses of local Muslims in Rakhine state.
