MOSCOW, September 2. /TASS/. The foreign Ministry summoned the Minister-counselor of the U.S. Embassy Anthony Godfrey in Moscow over the planned searches in the Russian trade mission in Washington.

“On 2 September, the Russian foreign Ministry was caused the adviser-envoy of Embassy of the USA in Moscow Anthony Godfrey. He handed a note of protest in connection with the intention of us authorities to arrange a search in the Trade mission of the Russian Federation in Washington, which today we are deprived of access”, — stated in the message.
The foreign Ministry stressed that the building of the trade mission is in the Russian state property and diplomatic immunity.
