The first mayor of Innopolis resigned

Moscow. 21 Nov. INTERFAX.RU — Mayor IT-city Innopolis (Tatarstan) Egor Ivanov wrote a letter of resignation at own will, informs a press-service of Innopolis on Monday.

Ivanov was elected the first mayor of the city created on 25 December 2014. The election of a new mayor will be held on 24 November 2016.
It is noted that the new mayor will be selected at the gathering of the citizens from among candidates who may be any resident of Innopolis, permanently registered in the city.
According to the press service of Innopolis, now it has a population of 2.5 thousand people.
