The state Duma adopted in the first reading the bill on the budget of the Russian Federation in 2017, and planned budget for 2018 and 2019, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and the Chairman of the accounts chamber of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova has presented the document to the deputies at the plenary session. Their project envisages the budget deficit at the level of 3.2% of GDP in 2017. In 2018 and 2019, this figure will be respectively 2.2% and 1.2%.
The main financial document prepared with the price of $ 40 per barrel of oil and assumes that the inflation rate will not exceed 4% for all three years. The project allows for the possibility of external borrowing, in 2017 they can make up to seven billion dollars, and in 2018-2019 – not more than three billion dollars a year.
