In New Zealand warned of a possible “big wave” after the earthquake
Moscow. 13 Nov. INTERFAX.RU Service of civil defence of New Zealand said the threat of a tsunami after the night of Monday (local time) on the South island was recorded earthquake of magnitude 7.8.
In particular, the imminent possibility of approaching the “big wave” says that in the village of Kaikoura on the South island there has been a sharp decline in water level by 2.5 m, which typically indicates a possible subsequent tsunami.
