Canadian airliner barely got away from collision with UFO

Canadian passenger aircraft barely avoided a collision with an unidentified flying object. On Monday, November 14, reports channel CTV, citing a statement the airline Porter Airlines, which belonged to the Board.

The incident occurred on the morning of the same day. The airliner was flying from Ottawa to Toronto and was in 55 kilometers to the East from the destination at an altitude of 2,700 meters, when the pilots noticed an object.

“As you get closer to it they realized that it is very close to their route, and then took action to avoid them”, — explained the airline. As a result of the maneuver light injuries to two flight attendants.

According to the initial evaluation of the pilots, the object was like a balloon, but later they said that it could be a drone. Office of transport security has sent two investigators for the survey crew.

CTV estimates that most Amateur drones can’t climb to 3,000 meters, however, unmanned aerial vehicles for commercial, scientific and military purposes are able to reach such heights.

The Ministry of transport of Canada stated that drones should not rise above 90 feet above the ground and may not be closer than nine kilometers from the airport or helipad. The Agency reported that in 2016 has investigated around 50 incidents involving drones have occurred in 2010-2015.
