He recalled that while the current U.S. President is Barack Obama.
“While the US is the current President and it will be another two months to act. The events in Syria, for example, are developing so actively that no one can afford a break in two months. Therefore, the work will continue. You need to be patient and wait, how will the new US administration,” — said Peskov.
According to him, Moscow proceeds from the fact that trump has declared its readiness to talk with Russia. “We do not expect, we believe that he was talking about willingness to talk. Thank God if this willingness is confirmed,” said Sands, answering the question of what the Kremlin expect from a future occupant of the White house.
It is not our job to evaluate the actions of participants of the election campaign, especially President-elect. We proceed only from what is said by our President Putin: that, of course, Russia is seeking good relations that Russia wants to resolve all disputed issues through dialogue and not through confrontation.Dmitry Pescovitz Secretary of the President Hsitate alsoProtesting against trump threw stones at the police
“And, of course, we hope that some dialogue will appear, because now the relations are in a deplorable condition,” he added.
A spokesman for the Russian leader also said that Putin and the tramp “can unite in some degree their approach to the key priorities as protection of national interests and pragmatic approach to building relations within the country”. “They’re talking about the same thing: that we need to normalize relations between our countries, but guided primarily by national interests,” — said Peskov.
Answering the question whether he believes that the US will be the President who “will be a true friend of Russia,” Peskov said: “We are not dreamers, and here it would be foolish to be guided by any emotions. No one answer this question can not. Of course, there will be disagreements continue, and the controversy continue.”
