Monday, November 14, residents of the Astrakhan region will witness a unique event – the brightest over the past 70 years of SUPERLINE, writes TASS. It is noted that the next time such a phenomenon can happen almost 20 years later, in 2034. If the sky is clear, the people of Astrakhan on Sunday night to see the supermoon.
This astronomical phenomenon occurs when the full moon or new moon coincides with the perigee, i.e. the point of closest approach to our planet with its natural companion. It is noted that in such moments, the Moon is 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than usual.
