In the Kremlin invited the Tramp to convince NATO to withdraw troops from the borders of Russia
The newly elected President of the United States Donald trump could strengthen an atmosphere of trust with Moscow, persuading NATO to slow the extension or to withdraw its troops from the borders of Russia. This was stated on Friday, November 11, in an interview with the Associated Press, press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

This step, according to the official representative of the Kremlin, would have led “to a kind of détente in Europe.” Now, as noted by Peskov, Moscow sees that as “the muscles of NATO become more and more and closer and closer to Russia’s borders”.

Earlier, on 11 November, the press Secretary of the Russian President noted that Moscow does not expect improvement of relations with Washington in two weeks. November 10, Peskov said that disagreements between Russia and the United States can not be avoided, however, added that relations between countries can be improved through a constructive dialogue. He also noted that elected us President in Russia is not invited. The day before a Kremlin spokesman said that any contacts between Putin and trump is not planned prior to the entry of the latter into the position.
Donald trump was elected President of the United States November 9, his inauguration will take place on 20 January 2017. In his speech on the occasion of the election, the politician promised to seek common ground, not hostility with partners in the world.
On 2 November the Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu said that NATO is increasing its offensive potential on the borders of the Russian Federation and Belarus, so Moscow is forced to take defensive measures.
On 10 September it became known that NATO deploy a new grouping of forces of deterrence in the Baltic region in may 2017, some units will arrive at the location before the main structure.
