The Russian foreign Ministry said exhausted resources to put pressure on North Korea

In his opinion, the United States and other countries could once again strengthen the restrictive measures against Pyongyang, but it will not lead to the desired result. “Everyone knows that the resource sanctions on the DPRK exhausted. The UN security Council can no longer make resolutions, pointing to the impossibility of a military solution,” — said the diplomat.

Earlier it became known that the evening of 29 August, the UN security Council will hold an emergency meeting in connection with start-up in North Korea, presumably, ballistic medium-range missiles. The initiators of the convocation are Japan, USA and South Korea.

On the night of August 29, the North Korean rocket flew over Japanese territory, falling in 1180 kilometers from Cape Erimo of Hokkaido. Immediately after the start of the South Korean military conducted a demonstrative exercises with the use of large bombs.

On 5 August the UN security Council passed a resolution toughening sanctions against the DPRK. The proposal to impose new restrictions against North Korea had been made by the United States. In Washington explained this response to the launches of Intercontinental ballistic missiles by Pyongyang.
