The Kremlin has refused to intervene in the situation with the Sochi national Park

The Kremlin does not intend to intervene in the situation around the change of the Director of the Sochi national Park (SNP), said press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov on Friday, August 4. His words are quoted by the correspondent of”.ru”.

On the question of whether there is over the course of the conflict in the Kremlin, Peskov replied in the negative.

On the eve of “Novaya Gazeta” published a letter, allegedly drawn up by the presidential envoy in the southern Federal district Vladimir Ustinov. In it he States that he considers the appointment of Darya Filippova (according to the media, she is the niece of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin’s) for the post of Director of SNP to be feasible. The Ministry of the environment stated that it did not plan to argue for this position, the newspaper writes.

Nicholas Penkovsky, who managed the Park since 2002, was dismissed. According to the Ministry of natural resources, his dismissal is connected with the violations revealed by the accounting chamber.

The SNP Director was appointed Darya Filippova, told the media. Now she was acting head of the national Park, as Penkovsky was reinstated by the court.
