The guards found underwater spirtovoj from Moldova to Ukraine
Moscow. 26 Aug. INTERFAX.RU — frontier Guards Belgorod-Dniester group found the underwater spirtprom from Moldova to Ukraine Cuciurgan reservoir in Odessa region, the State border service of Ukraine.
“Yesterday, during the monitoring of the coastline of the Cuciurgan reservoir, frontier guards of Department “limanskoye” found a hose with a diameter of 32 mm. the Pipeline was laid from the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine in the direction of the Dniester Liman. With it was allegedly illegal to move alcohol from Moldova to Ukraine,” reads the Facebook service on Friday.
Law enforcement authorities established that the pipeline was installed recently and has not been used since the hose was new and empty and did not contain the characteristic smell of alcohol.
The pipeline was securely fastened to the Moldovan side, so law enforcement officers with border boats dismantled only part of the hose up to the state border. The length of the remote pipe reached 540 meters.
Law enforcement officers continue activities on establishment of the persons involved in illegal activities.
