Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri in an interview with RT, expressed his confidence that the air communication with Russia will be restored as soon as all controversies are eliminated.
According to him, currently the Cairo and Moscow have increased cooperation on this issue, visited the country several technical delegations from Russia.
Shoukry added that Egypt “has fulfilled many of the recommendations that were given by the Russian side”.
“We have come a long way, and I’m looking forward to when this Chapter will be passed,” said the foreign Minister of Egypt.
Earlier, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov noted positive developments in the issue of resumption of flights between Russia and Egypt.
