Scientists have discovered how the first viewing of porn affects men’s behavior
MOSCOW, Aug 3 — RIA Novosti. Psychologists from the USA found that viewing pornography at an early age makes a man likely to dominate over women and get acquainted with her at a later age turns them into playboys and “cauldrons”. About the results of their observations they reported in the next meeting of the American psychological Association in Washington.
“We wanted to examine how the age at which men first view pornography and what they saw affects their tendency to two behavioral stereotypes — the desire to be dissolute playboy or authoritarian “macho”. As it turned out, the earlier a boy starts to watch porn, the more often he gets macho and Vice versa — late watching porn often makes him a playboy,” says Alissa, Bachmann (Alyssa Bischmann) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA).
In recent years psychologists and sociologists have become interested in how pornography and other kinds of sex-content on TV and in the global network affect the behavior of men and women.
For example, last year scientists from the University of Oklahoma found that involvement in pornography in couples is an indicator of broken relationships and indicates a high probability of divorce in the coming months and years.
A little earlier, Danish researchers found that viewing pornography changes the behaviour of men and makes them more prone to discrimination against women in cases where they differed authoritarian mindset.
