The President of Russia Vladimir Putin met with permanent members of the security Council. This was reported on the Kremlin website.

“The meeting discussed the issues that were raised during the recent international contacts of the President of Russia, as well as the agenda of upcoming international meetings of the Russian President”, — stated in the message.

It is noted that also the subject of agreements between the leaders of the “Normandy format” held in connection with the August 22 telephone conversation.

“In addition to the international topics at the meeting was raised and the current political issues”, — said the press service.

The meeting was attended by the speakers of both chambers of Parliament Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, head of the SVR Sergey Naryshkin.
