Five climbers killed in Austria

When climbing a mountain in the Austrian Federal state of Salzburg killed five climbers. Reported by ORF.

Another member of the group received severe injuries, he was hospitalized.

The incident occurred at an altitude of two thousand meters above sea level. According to preliminary data, the cause was the breakage of the safety rope used to tie climbers.

Currently rescuers evacuate bodies of victims, their nationality is established.

On 22 August it was reported that while climbing mount Elbrus, died tourist from Moscow. Rescuers pulled the body of the traveler down and handed over to representatives of law enforcement agencies. The cause of death of Muscovite is still unknown.
