Putin will attend the judo world championship in Budapest

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin will take part in the opening ceremony of the 31st world judo Championships August 28 in Budapest. On Thursday, August 24, according to the Kremlin website.

Emphasizes the Pro-Russian President to visit Hungary at the invitation of Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The heads of state also plan to hold a separate meeting.

Earlier Thursday it was reported that the Hungarian University of Debrecen intends to bestow on Putin the title of “Honorary citizen”.

August 17 it became known that the President of Russia invited to the opening of world judo championship, as is the honorary President of the International Federation of this sport.

Putin has visited this year in Budapest. On February 2 the Russian President held talks with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban in the Hungarian Parliament.

The world judo Championships in 2017 will be held in the Hungarian capital in the arena name of Papp Laszlo sports arena from 28 August to 3 September.
