MOSCOW, August 24. /TASS/. In the question of interaction of Russia and the USA on the Syrian issue has no place for resentment, and misguided sense of prestige. This was stated on Thursday, the Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“As for relations between Moscow and Washington, how it affects the work in Syria… We are pragmatists, we understand that this is not the place for resentment, and misguided feelings of prestige,” – said the Minister.
“We are talking about the threat to us all, we are talking about the fate of the peoples of the region, the people of Syria, and other countries. Not only in this region, because the terrorists are already showing themselves in Europe and overseas, and in Southeast Asia, and Central Asia, – said Lavrov. – So here we have tasks in common, and we realize the whole responsibility of the work that is now underway”.
