DPRK leader Kim Jong-UN inspected the North Korean military’s readiness to strike at the United States, the army leadership gave him the plan of attack on U.S. base on the Pacific island of GUAM. On Monday, August 14, the Associated Press reports.
It is noted that the North Korean leader visited the headquarters of the strategic forces of the Korean people’s army. He praised the military and urged Washington to “make the right decision and to demonstrate that they want to reduce tensions on the Korean Peninsula and preventing a military confrontation”.
On 11 August the President of the United States Donald trump warned the leader of North Korea from striking at the American military base on GUAM, or any other military aggression. “If Kim Jong-UN once again threaten us, or do anything against the USA, he will very soon regret it”, he said. The head of the White house had hoped that the situation with North Korea will be resolved peacefully.
The UN security Council on 5 August adopted a resolution toughening sanctions against Pyongyang. North Korea is prohibited to export coal, iron, lead, and seafood. Accounts of the Bank for foreign trade of the DPRK frozen North Korean vessels that violated UN resolutions, denied entry to the ports of all States.
The DPRK stated that 3.5 million North Koreans wished to join or to return to the army to fight the United States.
