The Ukrainian government has revoked an agreement with Russia on military exports

The agreement was developed by Ukraine and Russia on the basis of the agreement between the two governments on military-technical cooperation of 26 may 1993.

KIEV, August 9. /TASS/. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has terminated the intergovernmental agreement with Russia on the procedure of interaction when implementing export of goods (products) for military purposes in a third country. The decision was taken at a government meeting on Wednesday.

The agreement was approved by the Ukrainian government on 24 March 2004 and was developed by Ukraine and Russia on the basis of the agreement between the two governments on military-technical cooperation of 26 may 1993. In the document the parties agreed to maintain and develop cooperative relationships in the development and manufacture of military products, to carry out mutual deliveries, provide services for military purposes.
