Attacked tourists in Hurghada will be placed in a psychiatric clinic

CAIRO, Aug 7 — RIA Novosti. Egyptian prosecutors ordered to be placed in a mental health facility man accused of knife attack on tourists in Hurghada, for examination.

According to the Agency Reuters referring to sources in the security agencies, the attacker was a supporter of the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG*, banned in Russia). However, the Prosecutor of the state security of Egypt has denied information about the alleged connection to the incident in Hurghada with terrorist activities.
