Prince William the night shift will finish career of the pilot of the ambulance

Prince William says goodbye to career of the pilot of the ambulance, East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), after my last night shift on Thursday so after that to devote himself entirely to the court duties.

The Duke of Cambridge, second pretender to the British throne, spent two years working in a medical aviation. According to him, he is proud to work in the medical service and am grateful for the experience.

Shift Prince

Prince worked in a team of four, each shift lasted 9.5 hours.

Emergency medical service, which employs Prince, assisted victims in various emergencies — fires, poisoning, falls from a horse, heart attacks, car accidents.

Every day the service receives about 2 million applications for assistance.

“Was very heavy, dark moments. We talk a lot about them, and this is the best way to deal with most situations,” said William about his work in September last year.

He flies the rescue helicopter H-145, which has a top speed of 170 mph (273,5 km/h) and can be on the scene in any area of East Anglia within a few minutes.
