Medvedev spoke about raising pensions and wages in 2018

The draft Federal budget for 2018 remains conservative, but it is necessary to provide for the implementation of all priority projects. On Wednesday, July 26, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, reports “Interfax”.

“Of course, we have a capacious social obligations on increase of salaries, indexation of pensions, to support the most vulnerable groups of the population, despite the fact that according to current projections for 2018 and 2019, the budget remains conservative” — leads the Agency of his word.

Earlier, on 25 July, the Pension Fund of Russia announced that from August 2017 to working pensioners will increase the payments. The maximum size increase is approximately 222 of the ruble. In addition, it is expected that by 2020 the amount of insurance old-age pension will increase by 13 percent and will reach 14.9 thousand.

19 July, Medvedev also said that the social protection of Russians should be strengthened. He emphasized that to achieve this goal can not save because “it’s about maintaining the health of people, those who work in the public sector”.

The draft budget for 2018 is under discussion in the government. Before October 1, must submit to the state Duma.
