After the head of the Kemerovo region Aman Tuleyev did not come to work because of the treatment in connection with surgery on the spine, in the region increasingly began to discuss the potential successors of the Governor. According to sources, “Kommersant”, the administration has already formed a list of 20 candidates. It was including the first Vice-Governor of Kuzbas Vladimir Chernov, the mayor of Novokuznetsk Sergey Kuznetsov, the President of the holding “Siberian business Union” Mikhail Fedyaev, the mayor of Nizhny Tagil Sergey Nosov, and also the Deputy of the state Duma from the Kemerovo region Dmitry Islamov.
According to sources, the most likely is the candidate of the country. At the same time, other sources say that Tuleyev would like to see as his successor “someone local”, for example, Islamov. Experts also believe that any successor Tuleyev will face difficulties at work.
Recall that after the surgery 73-year-old Tuleyev was taken for treatment by plane from Kemerovo to Moscow. Currently, the Governor is conscious, his condition is stable.
