Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel during a telephone conversation on June 30, discussed the menu of the gala dinner at the summit of “Big twenty”. This was announced by the assistant to the Russian leader Yury Ushakov, reports “Interfax” on Monday, July 3.
The representative of the Kremlin did not specify which dishes were discussing Putin and Merkel, the hosts of the upcoming summit.
Telephone conversation on 30 June was held at the initiative of the German side. In addition to the G20, the heads of state discussed bilateral cooperation and issues related to the Paris agreement on climate change.
In the framework of the summit of “twenty”, which will be held in Hamburg from 7 to 8 July, the Russian leader is scheduled more than 10 meetings, including with the presidents of the United States, France, Turkey, South Korea, Mexico and South Africa. In addition, in Putin’s chart are the contacts with the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, Merkel, and the Prime Minister of Australia and President of the European Commission.
