In the Irkutsk region found illegal workshop for the production of “Hawthorn”
After the mass poisoning bath concentrate “Hawthorn”, the police found in the Irkutsk region two underground shop on manufacture of counterfeit alcohol products. On Tuesday, December 20, reports TASS.
According to the chief of public security Department of the internal Affairs of Irkutsk Vasily Alexeev, one workshop was discovered on the territory of the former dairy factory in the town of Shelekhov. Second, the police found the day before in the gardening Association in the Leninsky district of Irkutsk.
In the workshops was the capacity with concentrate “Hawthorn” and similar products “Vitasept” and “Clean”. Do their part of the methanol will be established following a laboratory examination. Two days during raids on the outlets of the police seized more than 10 tons of alcohol-containing products.
On 20 December a state of emergency was extended to the territory of the whole Irkutsk region, said the Governor of the region Sergey Levchenko. About it reports “Interfax”. A day earlier, the state of emergency began operating in Irkutsk. Authorities have banned the sale of “Hawthorn” and all non-food alcohol-containing products.
According to the latest data, the number who died after the use of concentrate has reached 54 people. In hospitals remains 28 poisoned, 13 of them are in intensive care.
