In Krasnoyarsk, opened the first in Russia Church at the Mall
Moscow. 10 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — IN one of the largest shopping centers in Krasnoyarsk has appeared the house Church. This is the first case in Russia when the Church was built inside the shopping complex. The temple-chapel of St. Feodor of Tomsk is located in a separate room on the fourth floor, the press service of the local diocese.
In the spring of 2016 with a request to the spiritual care of guards and visitors to the Abbot of St Theodore and Cyril and Methodius Church of the village Elite Archpriest Georgy Cosgove turned the management of this shopping center.
There was a small room, where the priest held regular spiritual conversations, made confession and communion. When it became clear that the room did not accommodate all comers, was allocated a more spacious room.
The people here are in need of spiritual nourishment. After all, where trade is always a lot of negativity. And now there’s a place where everyone can become spiritually pure. All service came by, really liked it.George Kozhemyakina
The shopping centre has a warning system, which regularly reported, when will the next worship service. It is planned to make the temple available to visit any day and at any time.
