According to the new law on the reintegration of Donbass for the first time Russia will be called the “aggressor” at the level of the Ukrainian legislation. This was announced by the representative of the Ukrainian President at the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Lutsenko.

She noted that, according to the law, Ukraine will have the right to Samooborona and not take responsibility for the situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk national republics.

In July, the Ukrainian media have published the text of the bill on the reintegration of Donbass, which should be considered by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the autumn.
