Historian Oleg Krinitsky explained why the documents about the battle of Stalingrad has long been classified.
According to him, during the great Patriotic war was classified, all such documents, as important information could fall into enemy hands.
After the war, some of the documents declassified, and the other settled in the archives, which could many times be transported from place to place.
We will remind that earlier the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation published on its official website a number of previously classified documents about the events of the battle of Stalingrad.
