Medvedev wrote to Orban about the desire to improve relations of Russia and Hungary

Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev sent a message of congratulations to his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban, in which he expressed the hope that the development of economic cooperation. The announcement was published on the government website.

“I am confident that further enhancement of multifaceted cooperation in trade-economic and investment cooperation, implementation of joint projects in energy, industry, high-tech industries to fully meet the interests of our countries”, — the telegram says.

Medvedev congratulated Orban on the national holiday — the day of St. Stephen, first king of Hungary, who ruled from the year 1000.

Earlier it became known that Hungary is interested in the continuation of gas supplies from Russia after 2019.
