Grace Mugabe
The wife of Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe, grace, appeared in the South African police to give explanations about the attack on the model. About it reports Reuters.
The incident occurred in Johannesburg, where in one of the hotels in the prestigious Sandton stopped 52-year-old grace Mugabe’s sons Robert and Peter Bellarmine Chatunga. As explained by the South African authorities, the wife of Zimbabwean President flew to South Africa to consult with the doctors about the wounds on his leg. Sons Mugabe came into the room after a long party, taking with him a 20-year-old model Gabriella Engels. This led grace into a rage.
“When grace entered the room, I had no idea that it was she, — the girl told police. In her hands was an electric extension cord, and she began to smack me in the head. She beat me with an electrical plug, I didn’t understand what was happening and was in shock. Under a hail of blows, I crawled from the room on all fours, then jumped up and took to their heels”.
Gabriella went to the hospital. Doctors have recorded several head injuries and a deep cut on his forehead. As stated by Engels, with that scar her career as a model will be completely destroyed.
Grace herself appeared to the police to give explanations. South African guards already announced that they do not intend to detain her, as she had volunteered to cooperate with the authorities of the order, but said that will investigate and if necessary indict. As the wife of Mugabe arrived in the country on a regular passport, she has no diplomatic immunity.
Grace Mugabe is the unofficial head of one of the factions in the Zimbabwean leadership, which can claim authority in case of death of 93-year-old Robert Mugabe. Another faction headed by Vice-President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is now undergoing treatment at a South African hospital.
