In Syria downed MiG-21 air force. It is reported TASS with reference to the channel Sky News Arabia.

June 19, last year it was reported that the MiG-21 of the Syrian air force crashed in the province of Hama in the West, the crew was killed. According to military officials, the accident occurred due to technical reasons. In mid-March of that year, the same fighter jet of the Syrian air force was shot down from MANPADS near the village of chair-nbuda in Hama province. One of the crew members survived, the second one died.

The MiG-21 is a Soviet supersonic light tactical fighter of the third generation, developed in the mid 1950-ies. Various modifications of the aircraft are still in service in several European, African and Asian countries.
