Participant of all-Russian youth forum “Territory meanings on the Klyazma” thanked the Minister of foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov for the fact that he never “screwed up”. It is reported by RT on Friday, August 11.
“I would like to thank you for being constantly in front of millions, you never screwed up,” said the young man from Dagestan, which led to applause from other participants and the laughter of the Minister.
Sergei Lavrov jokingly asked him: “Mom swears?” Dagestani answered in the affirmative, adding that the foreign Minister and President Vladimir Putin Russia “remains the best and powerful country.”
He also asked the Minister for foreign Affairs, whom he sees in the future as his successor. Lavrov left the question unanswered, noting that personnel decisions are made by the head of state.
“The Territory of meanings” Lavrov also said about the episode with Yevgeny Primakov, who headed the foreign Ministry in 1996-1998. The diplomat said that he had received from him the offer to go on a business trip to the Russian Embassy in Washington during a campaign in the Russian bath.
