Vladimir Putin visited Abkhazia on the 9th anniversary of the beginning of the five-day war. The Russian President currently holds a meeting with head of the Republic Raul Khadzhimba. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“We have something to talk about, but the most important thing is that we have a special, very special relations with Abkhazia. We reliably guarantee the security and independence of Abkhazia’s independence. I am sure that this will continue,” — said Putin.
Vladimir Putin has added that counts on the cooperation of law enforcement agencies of the two countries to enhance the security of Russian tourists, and citizens of Abkhazia.
